NORSEMAN 1 PINT CANDLE
It was clear to see that NORSEMAN is overall our most preferred scent. Initially introduced as a 2021 WINTER SCENT, we received so much positive feedback that we had to keep it going year round.
Something that was also made clear to us was that our Scented Home products are our leading category. Adding these items to our repertoire was a big risk that has certainly paid off. In a little more than 2 years we have more than doubled our business. Compared to 2019 & 2020, we are doing 4 times the sales today. While Beard Care is where we started and something we take a lot of pride in, through our innovations that have become part of the lexicon of beard care across the globe. We have not seen our core lose any ground, all our new items are only adding to our overall success. 2023 may be our biggest year yet and can lead to the biggest risk of our existence – having a home for everything J&L and JÖL. Our growth has been significant enough to take this dream and make it real.
Nothing we have accomplished from our humble beginnings can have been done without YOU. All the people that took a chance on our products and saw something in us that interested you. When we get to meet you in person it is a huge joy. Having a moment where you can share your stories with us and we can share one with you. Your feedback guides us on our journey. It was your direct input that steered us to making candles; something I said I would never do. Not that I didn’t think I could do it well, I felt that it was a covered market that would be troubling to get into. Like you, the candle market embraced us. They like that we brought something less than common to the marketplace.
It is time we step up our game, get even better at what we do and for me to get out there more to share our story with more people. Not just potential customers, but everyone that can help make my dream come true. Building this next stage is not going to be easy; and we are not going to keep it a secret. We love surprises, but we want to take you all on the journey. Starting in January I am finally going to get the camera in front of this mug of mine and tell the story, share our frustrations and challenges, and let you experience our joy as we go. This is likely to be harder for me to pull off than anything else I have done in my life. This socially awkward guy will have to get over his shyness and make it happen.
