Quick answer: No.
Why is that?
Simply expense. Not only would it cost quite a chunk to have one designed and printed, but regular updates to keep it relevant and timely would be exponential. It is also not very eco-friendly. To make it somewhat affordable to print, we would need to print hundreds. Due to our size and current customer base would mean that a large quantity of catalogs would be tossed into recycling bins by us as we introduce an update.
We get regular booklets, flyers and catalogs from our suppliers. Since we are rather set in our needs these are immediately disposed of upon arrival. Rarely is there something that would catch out attention as something new to acquire that we would not see in the regular mailing list updates we receive or present on their website.
I grew up with catalogs. As a child I was excited when the new Sears, JC Penny, Service Merchandise and Montgomery Ward catalogs would arrive at the end of summer. Immediately I would flip to the back pages where all the new toys would be featured to begin compiling my Christmas list. Of those retailers that still exist, their catalogs are no longer available. Many other retailers that relied upon catalogs to allow shopping from home have fallen away. IKEA announced that their much enjoyed and often very useful catalog would cease publication. As we go further into this digital age, printed catalogs are no longer a smart thing to do. Everything we could put into a catalog can be easily seen through this website. Pile in our social media accounts, and we have even more means to visually attract shoppers. And, we are not even that current with those channels.
We don’t plan to ever publish a printed catalog. In time, we may develop a virtual catalog that mirrors the layout and format in much the same manner but without the reliance of paper. As this would be a very time consuming task, it is not likely to happen any time soon. In the meantime, keep checking out our site and follow our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
